Notion pages, with the next sentence waiting.

For people who plan and write in Notion. Typeahead reads the page on your Mac and suggests your next sentence pixel-perfect at your cursor, in Notion’s own font.

A Notion page called “Launch notes” that starts “Everything for Monday’s release, in one place.” You type “The new onboarding ships on Monday, and” and Typeahead suggests “the guide is ready.” Tab takes it.

It reads the page.

Window context reads what’s on the page you’re writing, so the next line can pick up a name, a place or a plan.

A Notion page, “Offsite in Lisbon”, lists “Flights land Thursday at 11” and “Dinner at Taberna Sal on Friday”. Under it you type “On Friday, everyone meets at” and Typeahead suggests “Taberna Sal for dinner.”, picked up from the page.

How Window context works

In the page’s own font.

Default, serif or mono: the suggestion sits exactly at your cursor, in the font and size you’re writing in.

Common questions

Yes. Typeahead works in the Notion app on your Mac and in Notion in a browser, with nothing to connect to your workspace. As you write on a page, it suggests the rest of your sentence in grey at your cursor. Press Tab to take it, or keep typing and it steps aside.

Notion AI helps when you ask: you highlight text, press space, or call it up with a shortcut, and it works inside Notion. Typeahead doesn’t wait to be asked. It suggests the rest of your sentence as you type, in your style, and does the same in Slack, Mail and your other Mac apps.

Only the page you’re writing on, and only on your Mac. Typeahead doesn’t connect to your workspace; Window context reads the visible text of the open page, not the rest of your workspace, and you can turn it off in Settings. Typeahead never sends your writing to a server. Notion still syncs your pages, as it always does. Typeahead’s only network activity is license activation, a license check each time the app starts, optional update checks, and the one-time download of your AI model.

You still control the structure and the meaning. Typeahead offers a continuation of the sentence you started, and you decide whether it fits the page.
